"What a devoted local following! We visited while passing through town and the line was out the door. Their bacon egg and cheese sandwich is pillowy soft steamy, and their donuts are similarly tender. Boston cream filling was silky and tasted homemade. They have shelves neatly stocked with floury blond sliced loaves and rolls, and their pastry case is full of beautiful cupcakes and a handful of other pastry that I imagine are also good quality. While the line moved a bit slowly, coffee was just okay, and the donut selection was small, they are clearly well-established and serving patrons what they want. Cute place too- a giant dough trough table, huge classic sign and original photos give it a nostalgic touch. The biblical phrases on signs and walls aren’t my cup of tea but it didn’t make my sandwich any less enjoyable! Parking: Tons of parking, especially early morning."

"Amazing food. Beautiful and thoughtful presentation. The Chef is a culinary master. Even the vegetarian entree was a delightful combination of crispy and tender roasted vegetables over a bed of polenta. Really delicious. The duck was perfectly tender with a slightly crispy finish. Fantastic sauces to highlight each entree. Other recommendations- the salad, charcuterie and course- dessert -the tropical and the torrija."

"I leave 3 stars because normally bomb wings do not disappoint and we order from all the time! but today, today was not a good day. how they can see on the photo of my daughter rice bowl. the avocado is not good at all. Why would they even include that? the great order of the fat young pommes was simply a regular size order in a big one. either that or they have drastically reduced their proportions. the cornbrot, which is usually warm, moist and tasty, was almost unusable. I'm talking very hard! that makes me wonder again. Why involve it? I love you bomb wings, but for the amount of money we eat in your facility, we should expect at least fresh food.... really, regardless of how much is spent, fresh food should be given! they hoped they had only a bad day, as we like to support our black companies!"
