Visited for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with quality of my meal. The restaurant appearance and inside dining area are dated, but don't let that fool you. My meal was very good at a great price; I ordered the fried jumbo shrimp meal which included nine breaded shrimp, appetizer (I had the clam chowder), and two sides all for under $12.00. We have been going to Shrimp King for several years', it's a good value restaurant. I've always had the grouper franchise, delicious. Price has always been the same but now with a slight increase. I was surprised when looking at the bill that there is now also $2 extra charge for franchise. The food is good as always. service comparable to most others. I do have a problem or concern about the face that there are no handicap accomadations.
