Haven't been to Hammersmith in a while, so was surprised to see this new store in King St. So Bakehaus is a modern German bakery offering cakes, pastries, cookies, pretzels, sandwiches, burgers and German sausage rolls. I only got the Vegan Burger. Looked good when it came to my table. Tasted like a veggie burger from McDonald's. Too much ketchup and vegetable garnish. It was my first visit and the basic £4.99 hot dog that I ordered with grilled pork came extremely hot (temperature wise). I couldn't eat it until I waited 10 minutes for it to cool down. The bread tasted as though it was microwaved and the pork had little to not taste. It reminded me of cheap microwavable burgers from Aldi.
