Popped in for a coffee. I love espresso with a dash of non-dairy milk. “Macchiato” was marked at a staggering £3.20. This is a very normal coffee shop -nothing fancy. When paying I discovered that soya milk replacement was charged additional £0.65. Plus service charge of 12.5%. Assuming roughly a total cost for the retailer of£0.50, mark-up was about 700%.
