What shellefos likes about The Dove:
Having had a leisurely stroll along the river with friends, and feeling a bit peckish, we ventured inside at 12.30pm looking for a free table for four. Luckily it was early enough for The Dove to accomodate. Quaint surroundings with seating inside and out. Their roast dinners had amazingly generous portions, particularly the chicken. What furslands doesn't like about The Dove:
We always used to get a warm welcome and personable service here. Along with the setting, it was special. So we kept coming back. No more. Pro forma, impersonal welcome and service. The food is still good, but no better than in other old riverside pubs with a much warmer vibe. View all feedback.
