I had ordered the pork chops and nabeby the wings. the food was excellent. the pokchop was perfectly seasoned with a fantastic crust and so juicy. the nachos are more of a two person court. meat was tender and spiced and the chicken. omg we will go back soon! It was alright. I came in a Sunday afternoon about 3pm. The pulled pork or mac cheese wasn 't done so I couldn 't order them.... The buffet was really small, it consisted of pig feet, Turkey wings, salad, and 2 more items. I ordered from the menu the Cockpit , but again, the pulled pork wasn 't ready so I had to get brisket(which was too fatty for my liking), fried chicken wings, and ribs(both were very good). "We were greeted when we walked in had the menu explained by a really nice lady. We got the seafood combo with crabby fries and whiting platter with grits and hushpuppies. The cornmeal batter is everything and the huge pieces of whiting were on another level. The butter crunch cake and toffee cookies... delicious! The entire restaurant (especially the restrooms) was spotless and the staff cleaned constantly. Great portion sizes and fair pricing as well. Another black owned business that is doing it right consistently ??????"

"My family and I have been coming here since they opened . I have always had amazing service and the food was always excellent. I will say I was disappointed today In the customer service . I felt like I was being rushed to eat so I could then leave . Another thing I was also confused about was last week when I came with my family and was turned away due to “ dine in closed “ which was odd because we have ate here before past 8oclock . I can definitely tell management has changed over the time ."
