Dairy Queen (treat) - Hampton

We ordered a fudge brownie sundae and a small brownie blizzard at the restaurant. The cashier confirmed the type of blizzard and size we wanted, but when she handed us our order, it included a brownie and a chocolate dipped cone instead. When my husband pointed out the mistake, the cashier insisted that was what we were charged for, instead of apologizing and correcting the error. It's frustrating to encounter this kind of attitude from staff, especially when they make a mistake. We were also confused by the pricing, as a brownie listed at $4.39 and a small cone at $2.39 should not have added up to $9.85, which seemed excessive even for Virginia sales tax.

I really enjoy the hot dogs at this restaurant, especially since they are not too spicy. I also love pairing them with a large Orange Julius. They offer a variety of dips to go with their pretzels, which are currently on special. I am a fan of the soft pretzels from Dairy Queen as well.

My friend and I have been coming to this restaurant regularly since we met a very kind man here. We come at least once or twice a week, mainly because of Michael in the drive-thru. He always remembers our order and greets us with a smile. He is consistently friendly and happy, which is why we specifically ask for him now. Michael truly makes our dining experience enjoyable and we keep coming back for his exceptional service.

The desserts were delicious. However, our order was incorrect on a few occasions. Despite this, I would still consider going back.

The grandchildren enjoy the ice cream after a busy day at school. The staff is very friendly.
