What User doesn't like about Subway:
I visited the branch around 12:30 on December 4th, 2021. I overheard a male sandwich artist telling a customer to hurry up because he had a lot to do. Having worked at Subway for 9 years, I have never spoken to a customer in such a manner. View all feedback.
I went in to the Hampton Subway to use a buy one footlong get 2nd one free coupon which is basically two footlong subs for the price of one but with extra grauc. on both for $1.50 x 2 3 dollar's more on a 5.99 sub with no cost to 2nd sub alone so that be $8.99+.58-cents tax which should have been $10.57 instead I end up paying $11.22 that was after the re-ring-up with the other employee out of another city training a new first day employee who did the price first at $11.49 and some how I think it was the price registor machine malfunctioning and not technically the employee's themselves working there in the cause for the off price on my footlong sub-sandwhiches but anyways the more experienced employee said that the newest new first day on training employee forgot to register one of the charge's for a $1.50 charge on one of the 2extra grauc s into the sandwich's which in case that shouldn't even been that high in price on top of training employee forgetting to take the coupon though he claimed it was some how included into the price which still even after just one extra grauc at $1.50 with 58 cents tax would have been only $8.07 in pricing in that case with coupon in that case not $11.49 including the rewards card swipes, so anyways, the more experienced from another cities subway employee was there to cover the shifts for the more local employee who had been working totally all alone for many weeks in very busy situations needed to have days off to recover from all the exhausted worn out work stated she would fix it on the pricing after all the busyness rush of customers coming in and coming through the line after I asked one of the customer's if I could could cut in front of him in line to ask about this pricing that seemed to be a miss-hap of a price but felt like I ended up waiting around about an hour-1/2 for all of the costumer's to be fully cleared to go back up to ask about adjust\correcting the price with the receipt I was showing her, so with all that I mentioned above came after this point of when I went back up to the more experienced subway employee she went to see what she could do to adjust/correct the price then couldn't get the registor to correct the price so she then graciously said we'll just cancel that order paid to redo the order but as when she redid the pricing with only extra grauc with registering the coupon two footlong's for the price of one in buy one get one free then also the re-swiping of my rewards card as I was stating above that it only turned out to be a few cents lower instead of about around looking like a dollar and in a very small cents cheaper then the new employee did it for which still a bit high on my own opinion to feeling of over paid amount thus I didn't feel like going back up again to use the other coupons I was going to use with more then one footlong sub in a coupon with the idea of staying close to vegan sub as possible but the spinach leaves did have white speckle randomly spots on it which I asked for the employee to grab the best conditioned spinach leaves to avoid those to keep my immune system strong/stronger but neither one of them did so in avoiding them when swapping places to completing my sub to which I wasn't happy about that after asking them to do so to which I still ended eating them anyway's but they did however listen to what and how I wanted the sauces even the spices in their containers when getting to that part of making the sub Sandwhiches as well as following through to my requests of no slice down the middle of my two subs without even their force of habit of cutting them in half anyways after they heard me state it to where I would restate it after the fact in the mistake they just made on my sub, my take away was not to go to that subway until a much Later date with more employee's that can do it better with a new net connected price registor in service and do subway in my own city once back home to see how that goes their of the 2 subway's.
This has got to be the worst managed Subway in the area. Not only did I get overcharged, the manager was unavailable and had left two of the most incompetent kids in charge. I have been trying to get my money back, but no reply from the manager. Don't go to this store if you can avoid it!
Employees have poor hygiene, they're always out of bread, and veggies never look or taste fresh.
This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Subway. The girl who waited on us did not wear her mask properly, nor did she re-glove been using the cash register and making our sandwiches. I got a pathetic amount of veggies and when I asked for more, she looked at me and added two more spinach leaves. Also, when I bit into my sandwich, the bread was doughy. I won’t be back.
Many times we order online and they call us to explain they have ran out of bread. Always painful to receive a refund. Managers need to learn how to run the store.
