This was a great experience. An authentic, friendly restaurant in a neighborhood off the beaten path. Well worth the couple extra minutes of time. It is a downstairs restaurant, so wheelchair accessibility is questionable. They do have a street level patio, but it was not open when we were there. However, we loved the atmosphere downstairs. Been coming here for decades! We love this place so much they catered my son’s 1 year birth 10 years ago Today, we trekked from the burbs just to go to the restaurant this afternoon and I was so disappointed with the food!! Excellent food and service. Tried the polish platter with the cucumber salad. Enjoyed eating in the patio garden outside.
Potato pancakes were tasty. The garlic chicken was pretty good but not as garlicky as I hoped it would be.

Tastes the closet to my mothers home cooking polish favorites. Especially potato pancakes cukes cheesecake kielbasa. I tried the Hungarian potato pancakes and mushroom crepes fell in love with some new items. Bread basket is good beets and kraut what and I trying to say? It’s all good!
