We stopped here for lunch after our trip down the Road to Hana. We bought a few things at their store, including some banana bread. Ran into some people with Western New York connections and enjoyed our chats. Dined on their Spicy Pepperoni and Pineapple Pizza and it was very good and gave us leftovers to take back to our hotel. Great pizza place in the jungle. It will soon be going away though. Sad to see it go.
The pizza had a taste of Hana to it. Fresh, authentic and very creative in flavour. A must in Hana.
VERY fresh pizza. How fresh? The pig was killed THAT DAY.
I think this is the place we stopped during our Road to Hana tour. If it is I really enjoyed their organic banana bread, the homemade coconut and banana ice cream was fantastic and their homemade soda was so cold and refreshing after such a long exhausting tour of the Maui Coast.
Pizza was delicious. Had it to go and it was wrapped in a banana leaf. Salad was also good. Just FYI, it cost $1.00 per item for the food to go. It also sits next to an outdoor food stand with fresh fruit and drinks available.
