great breakfast, they never miss. I love the cookies and gravy. good service and nice and quiet caffe.

pasties! what do you desire when visiting the up? that may or may not be the best pasties in houghton, but it is where we ate. more beautiful diner.

"Eat here. You won't be disappointed! The best fried fish and chips I've had in my life. The chips are fried to Golden perfection and do this amazing thing where they simultaneously crunch and melt in your mouth. The fresh caught whitefish is flaky and flavorful, coated in a breading that is just right. It's not the kind where you take a bite and the fish falls out of a batter shell and you're left with two separate parts. Each bite is a perfect combination of both. The tartar sauce is just right. The portions are generous and if you get a basket, you won't leave hungry. Add on a $1 large soda to wash down your delicious meal. The atmosphere is perfect with a great view of the surrounding area and historic Quincy Mine."

"Went here for my wife’s birthday since they offer a free entree for birthdays with ID. She had the Combo Sub and she said it was delicious and loved the fresh sliced meat instead of the stereotypical deli meat. I had the half rack of ribs and they were phenomenal perfect kiss of smoke fall off the bone tender and perfectly seasoned bbq sauce, the fries were awesome double fried and homemade. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu"
