"I'm not an expert on Detroit-style pizza, but a friend who has lived elsewhere in Michigan recommended this place as having top-tier Detroit-style pizza and amazing ice cream. I came here with my mom, who was in town to visit. Since we wanted a pizza on a Friday, we ordered ahead to pick our pizza up at 6:45. It was ready promptly when we arrived and it was some of the best pizza I've had in the US. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere, with old-fashioned wooden booths, a tin roof, and adorable signage. We couldn't resist trying a couple of the fancy sodas, too, which were delicious. To top it all off, we tried both ice cream flavors (blueberry and cardamom) and they were fantastic. I loved and would try both again, but the blueberry in particular was so flavorful I wished I could take some home. I will be coming back here regularly!"

"Let me start out by saying the atmosphere alone inside is great, and the food is always good. I've tried sandwiches, pizza and pasta and it's all good all the time. The bartenders also really know how to make their drinks there too, sometimes there's a bit of a wait but it's always been worth it."

"I waited in line for 30 mins and they closed right before me even though I was there well before 9. Then continued to be extremely rude when I pulled up to the window. This is what happens when you have kids with no customer service courtesy working."
