You know things are bad when the Mccains French fries are the best thing on your plate. R&G's is a good restaurant, a step above your usual diner-type place. It's clean and bright with some tables having a lovely river view. Service is friendly and efficient. Food-wise, they have standard diner fare but better quality ingredients. It also helps that many of their items are made in-house rather than bought frozen.
