Nice bistro style menu. A little light on vegetarian options. All the dishes were very good, with scallops perfectly cooked, very flavoursome smoked trout and a good lamb shank special (even if the pairing with a fatty chorizo was a bit unusual). Front of house... View all feedback.
What George Harrison doesn't like about The Joiners:
Often disappointed on a return visit when it doesn't match the first occasion not the case if anything the food was as good as the first time if not better, service was great and friendly as were the locals. View all feedback.
Delicious Sunday roast a delicious selection at desserts to choose from. a relaxed country pub and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. will definitely go back.
We took our two mamas here for a late Mother's Day dinner and enjoyed the best meals. it is an attractive place with a cozy atmosphere with very charming and friendly staff. the menu was really interesting with a very good cross section for. choice everyone had excellent eating with not a morsel left and were all very impressed by the quality of the ingredients and delivery. that will be definitiw, but a restaurant of choice in the future we have discovered it.
On Saturday evening to dinner. nice eating. beautifully presented. I had the melon and parma ham, followed by sea bass and waning dessert. my man had ridge-eye steak. the men had beer and the women shared a bottle of white wine. would recommend definitiw.
On Friday fought for lunch and it was absolutely a good sign. venison was wonderful, meeresbass and Chinese greens excellent, while the desserts were just as historical when this restaurant at my doorstep I was fat and poor. I already look at my diary for the next visit,
Birthday lunch with posh fish n chips, bubbles and good company in the warm, cosy rural surroundings. Love it at The Joiners
