Absolutely perfect. This is exactly the kind of place you hope for when visiting Vermont. A true mom-and-pop classic diner. The staff was so nice and friendly. And the food was absolutely spectacular. Their homemade bread was soft and delicious; buttermilk pancakes to die for; french toast bacon sandwich and omelet were so rich and flavorful, and their chocolate chip whoopie pie ... heavenly! My first experience was excellent. The plain doughnuts are just like my grandmother made them years ago. Great addition to Hardwick.
Great, super friendly service. Sandwiches are fantastic. Corn chowder was the best I ever had!
