"My parents love going to The White Dog Bistro! I decided to get a gift certificate for them for a birthday, but I am not local. I called and Amanda made everything so easy. She took my payment information over the phone and then offered to hand deliver the gift since they are local!!! She texted me a picture of the gift card and handled everything. This kind of customer service is just unheard of these days. I highly recommend this establishment and these business owners. What a rare find!"

"Could not get anyone to serve us at the counter. Owner manager, whoever was in charge, ignored us on multiple occasions. She was also very rude to use upon check out. We finally flagged down a server to take our order. The couple sitting next to us couldn’t get anyone to wait on them, so they left after about 20 minutes. Large menu, good variety. Typical diner food that tasted just fine. The pie was really good, though an incredibly small portion for the price. This was our first time dining here and we didn’t leave with a great impression. Unfortunately, there aren’t many other options in the area."

"Overpriced unremarkable food. My wife and I ate here for lunch based on a recommendation by a friend (we had never been to Urbanna before). Our friend recommend we both get the tri tip sandwich. We ordered coffee, the tri tip special for $9.95 (tri tip sirloin sandwich with fries), my wife got the gingerbread desert and I got a slice of buttermilk pie. The sirloin tips that come on the sandwich were cold--not room temperature--refrigerator cold, and there were only three small slices on the bun, maybe 2 oz.
