What Greta Widmann doesn't like about Cafe Beam:
We have been regulars at this place for years but they have recently changed their menus and the old vegetarian/vegan favourites are either gone or substantially changed. Could understand the price increases to keep up with the costs, but there is no option to get the old and loved dishes even if paying for the sides etc. Shame! Hopefully the management sees it and introduces some more changes View all feedback.
Beam cafe is large. for crouch end. it is always busy. I chose the Mediterranean breakfast (at lunch) because I can never resist the list of ingredients. it came to a huge teller and was a pretty eclectic mix.
Went for Weekend brunch impressed by large portions, generously put together with crusty breads, soft, fluffy eggs and deliciously seasoned food all 'round...
Cafe Beam is a great catalyst for catch ups and a bite to eat with its big portion sizes, comfortable and inviting atmosphere and mismatched, quirky decor. It's cosmopolitan clipboard-menu offers up breakfast, brunch, deli delights mains with a little something for everyone. Upon my lunchtime visit I had the spinach and ricotta ravioli, which was a little heavy on the parmesan for my taste but was nonetheless nice enough. My friend and I shared a gorgeous halloumi salad with this divine tahini walnut dressing... Being a big lover of all things halloumi related, I loved it! If I could give this place a 0 star I would! Horrendous customer service!!! Staff were unbelievably miserable. Had to chase them to be served and asked three times for the bill. It wasn’t even busy. The food was nasty!! I would never go back here!!!
This is the best for breakfast I’ve been impressed every-time . I love how well managed it is and presentation and food quality is 5 star . I do wish they had one in every area as they could become huge !
