This is the best Wetherspoons pub I have been in nice decor, clean toilets and tables. Drinks and food very cheap as with all Weatherspoons pubs. I have never eaten at a Weatherspoons pub before but I tried the food here and had Chicken Tikka Massala, which was better than I thought it would be and was actually quite good, but was let down by the garlic nan bread, which was like cardboard, had no garlic but was swimm... What travel2472018 doesn't like about The Mossy Well:
Staff friendly enough. Food adequate. Needs to be more healthy but that’s Wetherspoons! Not a great atmosphere. Better in day. Great ales kept ok. Packed full of kids every night upstairs and even with doorman at weekends loads underage. Most well behaved I have to say. Tables can get left and be sticky and horrid.
