excellent good here. I had a drachen roll, pot sticker, greentee and mistsuppe. it was all very delicious. the decor is very beautiful there. this would be a great date at night. the staff was very friendly. the time when I came, there were not a lot of people eating inside when they codify certain decisions. I think I just found my favorite Japanese restaurant! highly recommended. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ichiban Shogun Japanese:
Meh. Very mixed experience. Some food was great, some left much to be desired. The ramen was... odd and the only person to like it had never had ramen before. Caterpillar roll was okay. The Pearl Roll and Big Mama Roll was very good, as well as the pork katsu. The Dynamite Roll was the weirdest presentation. The sashimi was very small pieces and the waiter did not tell us what was what. Mochi ice cream is one singula... View all feedback.
The best Asian food in a 50 mile radius hands down.
Sushi rolls were great. Worst bulgogi I've ever had, quality of meat was very small and way over cooked.
Literal the best sushi in the area harker Heights/Killeen/Nolanville/Belton! so many different choices and decent price for a good eating!
The decor is better than I expected for the area. The menu is more varied than I expected from a pure Japanese restaurant. We ordered the spicy California roll, ika and tako nigiri, a spicy tuna roll, shrimp fried rice and squid salad. The sushi was about as good as heb(but more fresh) and the squid salad was quite flavorful. The shrimp fried rice was pretty tasteless, but otherwise the meal was pretty good. The service was good and not bothersome at all. Would go again.
