"Well what a lovely stay we had, checked into the White Horse after visiting York, we were given the warmest welcome by John and Dawn. After we were settled into our lovely room Rose room) which was really comfortable and cosy, especially the super...king bed, we wondered down to the bar and restaurant for an evening meal. Again we were greeted by the friendly hosts and even the regulars made us feel welcome. Food was not a disappointment either yummy). Amazing nights sleep followed and then a great breakfast. Thanks again John and Dawn could not fault a thing."

"It was clear to us that the new owners are making significant improvements. The food was great, both the starters and main courses were delicious. The young lad who served us was brilliant, such a positive attitude. The new owner also made an effort to welcome us and was clearly keen that everyone was well looked after which was a nice touch.
