The owner/manager is super nice and extremely committed. He goes to the table to make sure everything is perfect. A homeless came in, and he didn't take his $5.00 and made sure he was given a hot meal without a fee. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh homemade. View all feedback.

Roane Street Grill was a jewel of discovery. We didn't want to wait for Cracker Barrel, so we warned on the street and found this place. For a "mom and pop " place it has a very diverse menu. My husband had the loaded hot dog that was extremely loaded and I had the grilled grouper that was delicious. They also have a variety of deserts. The Hummingbird cake was fantastic! The staff was attentive and very nice and the prices are very reasonable. It is worth the 3 miles drive from the Interstate!!! Will definitely go back there when we go through!
A very warm and welcoming local cuisine with homemade dishes. The owners came by to talk to us and thank us for coming. The waiting staff was super friendly. I had the catfish (excellent), my husband had the hot Brat rip sandwich with potatoes (half). He couldn't stop fleing about it. Only the right amount of food and it was not warm but hot! The place was excellent for Christmas. We will be back in June and hope to spend time in downtown antique business.
We stopped here after a tournament. The bar was great homemade Okra, potatoes, shrimp Alfredo. Also the wet coconut cake made there. Everything was really good. The owner was a very friendly older gentleman from Chit Chat with customers. Definitely recommend! A real Southern Food restaurant with local owners.
Great little find passing through. Don't go by the exterior. Large menu, everything good. Loaded hot dog excellent. Also homemade chicken salad on croissant was delicious.
