What User likes about The Vanguard:
Large small bar near the PATH station in Harrison. The hotel is located on the back of Element Hotel in Somerset Street. Very nice atmosphere, friendly amount and very friendly service. Appropriate low-priced drinks and if you want, there is a seat outside the bar when the weather cooperates. I found it a nice place to stop and drink a drink or two. Brunch at The Vanguard was about what you'd expect for a brunch. There was a light crowd. The space felt covid safe as groups were definitely seated spaces out. THE GREAT: The unexpected ???? of our brunch were the fried pickles. They were delicious. Light, crispy, enjoyable. The red sangria was so good. The waffle was amazing.
