"This is not authentic Indonesian food and yes I am Indonesian. Let?s start there. The website says it?s ?inspired? by Indonesian cuisine and yet ?Indonesian Cafe? is attached to the restaurant name. "Really eclectic and cute little diner with some very delicious vegetarian and gluten free options. I tried the potato pesto dish and my spouse tried the huevos rancheros. They were both exceptionally delicious and filling. Great service and price for the meal. Would definitely like to try more of their dishes if we every come back this direction."

"We came to Harrisonburg from Charlottesville and discovered Rocktown Kitchen through a friend and colleague. We ate at this amazing restaurant for the first time tonight. Adonis was our waiter and his service was outstanding. Anja (spelling? , the manager, was simply wonderful and so very welcoming. We are both looking forward to returning in the very near future. "I was a bit underwhelmed by the menu at first glance... I love Korean food, having lived there a few years. It was limited and expensive.But we gave it a chance, and we were hungry.Then the food came. Quickly. Damn. The japchae wasn't spicy enough, but otherwise was extremely flavorful and amazing! I forgot the name of my wife's dish, but it was quite amazing as well. Kimchi was perfectly spiced, if expensive, so worth it.Service was delightful. Had good conversations and we felt really cared for as customers.Overall, we spent a pretty penny for two people, but I'd go back with few reservations!Oh, and the meal was filling but I didn't feel bloated. A characteristic of good Korean food! And the accompanying sauces... oh that sweet/spicy sauce was on point!"

"The Reuben sandwich was very good. The steak sub order was mixed up from the beginning. After the order was taken, a different waitress came by to check the additional toppings we had ordered on our chicken sub. Oops, no, that was a steak and cheese sub order She yelled to the kitchen and proceeded to take the order again. When the order was delivered, it came without the additional toppings and dressing. Had to ask twice to receive them. Husband finally stood up and went to the front to receive the dressing. Even with it, the sub was very dry. This required another request for mayonnaise. Then, it was edible. By the time we had all of the order, the food was getting cold. Not again soon."
