As the title says if you are looking for a quintessential English country tea room, look no further. It has seats and tables outside for take away food served from a window or tables inside for a more formal affair with a greater menu. We were sat in the quirky cove and served very promptly. What Menumore doesn't like about Bordar House Teas:
I usually visit this restaurant for their delicious bacon sandwich, but unfortunately, my recent experience was disappointing. The bacon sandwich lacked butter, making it very dry, and the bacon was overcooked. The cafe was not crowded, so I expected better quality. View all feedback.

Great place which has got better over the last few years. Great black pudding too.
The coffee is very good here but the salads are absolutely amazing! The only thing I can complain about is the fact that it's very small so all 4 times we visited we had to sit outside. It was Summer though so we were lucky enough to have good weather but probably not a good place to eat in the winter.
Visited here a couple of times in Xmas week for takeaway breakfast offerings and was extremely impressed both times. Really friendly service, great value and would highly recommend the Baon Rolls. So tasty and packed full of bacon. Will definitely return the next time I am in Masham.
I was really disappointed with our food. And with the really snappy service from the takeaway window. Yet I’ve eaten inside so many times over the years and that’s been really good. But with COVID still rumbling. Safer to eat out Ordering was snappy. The food very poor when it came. The cooked breakfast too salty and yuck. The table filthy. Never saw any tables being wiped This was the stack of used coffee cups. Yes you were busy. Well I’m afraid you need more staff. Or you won’t get repeat trade
