I've only been in The Hunters a few times, and my last visit was pre-Covid. I'm glad to see it re-opening. We called in at 8.30 on Friday night and stayed for a few drinks. Only a few customers in at what seems to me to be prime drinking time, but, you have to drive here and it isn't a food place. It's a fine place but a strange xenophobia exists. Not manly, in my view, just strange. (I was once challenged to a fight for no reason, which I ignored. Guess I have a high voice. Can't think of another reason. Basically, the pub is a throw back to the 1970s. No problem, I was born in 1955, refuse to be intimidated.
