Personally I have never had a bad meal from here although I have never eaten in. Tonight’s delivery via Just Eat had delivery time of 8.50pm and it arrived at 8.40 with an apology for any delay. 35 mins from order to delivery, not bad. My chicken pasanda could have been a bit hotter but that’s easily remedied. Lovely sauce, peshwari naan, Bombay aloo, king prawn puri and sag paneer. Just over £20 and plenty for two. We have watched several owners come and go over the years and the restaurant used to be smart and well staffed. Tonight Saturday) we called in for takeaway and were surprised to feel how cold and silent the place was. There was only one overworked man front of house who was taking takeaway orders, answering phones and running back and forth to the kitchen . I have always found the Ahjee good value as you can take your on drink, but one look at the food hygiene website and I am worried its 1 out of 5 its a red flag
