"Arrive sat. No menus given, waited to think they would bring chips/salas w/menus. Chips/Salas, no menus. Wait 11 minutes, then I approached the manager. He apologised and had no explanation when I questioned his personal behaviour. This is the third time that I started and noticed how the staff treated BLACKS. I'm not going back. If you are black, take your business elsewhere."

"I’m not one to leave a bad review for a business unless our experience was very dissatisfying. The service was really bad but the food was decent! Apart from that, our toddler was sitting on the booth and when we were about to leave she moves down so she could get up. Well, they didn’t have their booth cushions attached to the wooden booth. So as our daughter moves to a place where she can get up the entire booth cushion comes off and throws her on the ground. She hits her head and of course is screaming. The owner comes out along with all the employees and they just stare at us. There’s no oh I’m so sorry but they just stare as my husband proceeds to tell them they need to fix their booths. If the staff/owner would have cared a little more, I would never have written this. Nope no care in the world that our daughter could of actually been hurt. This failure is a lawsuit waiting to happen."

"We had a nice little date and went to New London. Very sunk in the side streets this is a do NOT miss meal. We wanted to make the salad bar. Various toppings and salads. The roles are incredible! My wife had the coconut yarn and LOVED. I had filled the crab Tilapia (picture) and took half home... since I had to have the cream de Menth ice... oh I still think about it. The restaurant is an old home and is a little jammed while waiting, and the salad bar can be tight depending on where you sit. We enjoyed the meal and come back soon"

"I heard a lot about the Texas Inn in Lynchburg and finally got an opportunity to check it out! I went to the newer location because it was closest to me. I figured I 'd go with their Cheesy Western Burger and a chili dog. The chili dog was just okay; I 'm not a fan of the Jesse Jones red hot dogs, but I 'm getting used to them. Compared to the chili dogs at Moore 's convenience store on US460, the Texas Inn dog couldn 't hold a candle to Moore 's. I moved on to the famous Cheesy Western. I 've had a fried egg on a burger before and it was good. The Cheesy Western has a big helping of scrambled eggs on the burger with cheese and their house relish, which tasted to me like regular relish mixed with mustard. My opinion: scrambled eggs do not make a good burger topping. They don 't have a lot of taste and its spongy texture is not great on top of a burger. To be honest, I couldn 't even taste much of the hamburger due to the stuff piled on to it. I believe I also had onion rings with it? If I did, they were nothing worth remembering. Service was okay, but it was a takeout order. Also, I left the restaurant and immediately went to my car where I ate the food and it was already room temperature. Maybe the original location is better? Perhaps I 'll give it a try someday. I 'll try ordering something else to see if it 's better. I won 't be trying the Cheesy Western again! For all of the good reviews, I was disappointed. I don 't see what all of the hype is about, personally."
