"Got the fried chicken dinner for take-out. 4 pieces; breast, thigh, wing and drum that had a very good crunch. Came with fries that were ok and also came with a pretty generic but fresh iceberg salad. Not a lot of places have real bone-in fried chicken besides Popeyes/KFC. This was actually a better value than either of them."

"So far the best vegan eatery I've been to. Everything smelled delicious and everything i ate was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had ice cream and also made vegan milk shakes!Parking: There is a very limited space for parking but I haven't had any problems the few times I had gone.Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free options on top if the vegan options. I don't personally need them but it's great that it's there."

"Amazing food and lovely people, but very stuffy air, very loud music, and very slow service, and not anywhere near crowded enough at 4pm on a weekday to account for any of these. Had a minor issue with a wrong order, but it was both refunded and replaced on the house without our even asking, so big points for that. Overall, not the best first impression but definitely worth a second try."

"This is literally the only restaurant I go to Hartford. they can smell the arome of 2 roads away and they get so hungry only by going down the road! I love the butter chicken and the cadai chicken and I'm looking to get samosas for the next time because they look so good! also everyone works there so friendly and friendly. "If you get the right menu items, like the actual Halal menu, it is really good. The service is generally not fast but they often have a large orders so it takes a while to make all them. Chicken Shwarma Combo. Baba Ganoush. Good french fries. You’re not getting that in a whole lot of places at midnight."

"Go here! So my wife and I were driving back to NYC from Maine and the trip is fairly long (around 6 hours . I didn't want to stop at a rest stop, so we Googled Thai food. Pulling off the highway and stopping and King I Thai was a terrific decision. The atmosphere was cozy, hospitable, and comfortable. The food was delicious, the portions were generous and loaded with flavor. The hot oil was something to write home about for real, give it a shot, the heat factor is pretty high, but it's loaded with a smokey, garlicky taste. And the mango sticky rice dessert was terrific (fresh mango in the winter!?! . But what really makes this place spectacular is Kasey's (the young owners commitment to sharing his family's food with you in as warm, friendly, and generous a manner as possible. If I'm ever in Hartford again, I'm most certainly stopping at the King I."
