I was skeptical as my initial impression was that they were trying to be too trendy and I expected pretentiousness. I have to admit, the food was excellent and the staff was really helpful. I had some of the best chicken and waffles I've ever had (it comes with a whole half chicken! And my wife's omelette was terrific, too. What User doesn't like about The Place 2 Be:
The idea and atmosphere is cute but the execution needs work. My chicken and waffles were just frozen tenders heated up. I got my food before my husband and we ended up cancelling his order because we had to get to the airport. Our food came 45 minutes after we ordered. Our black coffee came sprinkled with powdered sugar and drenched in syrup. I would not recommend this place. read more.
