I enjoy going to Rosies. Everyone is really helpful there. I missed my birthday so I asked the manager about it and she was so accommodating. You normally get something for your birthday and thanks to Covid I wasn’t able to at the time. Erika was wonderful and made sure I received my birthday play money. She is so kind and friendly. Pierre works the Door when You walk in and he always has a huge smile on his face : s... View all feedback.
What sutton1626 doesn't like about Rosie's Gaming Cafe:
Have been coming here since the day they opened. We used to do ok, balancing wins and losses. Not anymore. We never walk away, ahead of the game. Not a great part of town, but the staff does check (somewhat) your personal items but not very thoroughly. They scan your face upon entry and you have to go through security . Waited 45 minutes just to get in. We were there for 2 hours and never saw anyone clean the machine... View all feedback.
I 've been meaning to visit this establishment for almost 2 years but never seem to get the time or remember to do it. Today I was driving by and thought this would be a great time to pay this establishment a visit and see exactly what it is compared to real casinos. I wish I could give it a stellar review unfortunately I really didn 't even get past the front door. this building used to be a Kmart many years ago and is seen more than a decade of no use before they open up Rosie 's gaming. this facility is also right past the Chippenham parkway overpass and the beginning of Richmond city limits. it 's also where the ghetto officially starts in the side of Richmond. And clearly they decided to give back to the City by hiring at least 2 of the local residents. I walk in and immediately in front of me was a small kiosk and immediately to the left about 12 feet was a metal detector check in. there seem to be a security guard milling about 15 feet away from the kiosk but the metal detector checkpoint was being staffed by an employee. since it was my first time at this establishment and I didn 't see any sign saying that I had to wait at the little podium where no one was I proceeded to walk towards the metal detector checkpoint. after taking about two steps the lady stopped me and said sir you have to go back and talk to him as she pointed to the unmanned podium that I just left bypassed. So I turn around and see the security guard that was milling around walk up to the podium. So I immediately walked over to him he looks at me turns his head to the side and starts laughing. Now I can take a good humored joke and laugh at myself often. So I apologize to the man and I said Sorry, first time here, I wasn 't aware of your entering procedure. Then he turned his head towards the employee at the metal detector check-in snickered more and so did she. So I asked What 's so funny ? He proceed to turn his head and laugh and snicker again, with his Co worker in unison. by this point I realized it wasn 't a good-natured joke this was just a man being a totally rude employee.,along with his sidekick. I had enough at this point. So I said, Sir,if I 'm not welcome in this establishment,I 'll just leave . He replied by saying I don 't have anything to do with you leaving . Ironic, that since he was the keeper he had the authority to permit or deny entry, and if he didnt then why would I need to speak with him all. Such logic clearly was lost on him when I said that. So at that point I said Sir, I came here to patronize this establishment, not to be mocked by its employees. And then I walked out.
It is ok if you are bored like I was, being in house for over a year. However they claim to be taking extra Covid measures, such as cleaning machines after each use , that is not happening. They have one elderly man going around and its takes him forever because he has mobility issues, not his fault. People are allowed to crowd you. Some people are even taking their mask off. No one is paying attention. I went during the day so I can imagine how it is at night. I guess I shall stay my butt at home. I want a clean facility. To many people allowed in bathrooms at one time. Another issue is the marketing manager lied to me over the phone then when I asked about in person , she tried to act dumbfounded and she, Chelsea responded in a arrogant way. I know for a fact what I asked and what she told me. This is discouraging because I am a great player. No more for me . This is not a real casino so set your limitations before you go.

An ok place to go for a little entertainment but set your expectations low, as far as winning is concerned. Burgers and fries are really good. If going alone, would recommend going in the daytime, not after dark
I have been several times. I have seen certain bartenders, one in particular either flat out ignore certain types of guests or curse them out for not tipping. Her Name was Eva. I saw one supervisor Lisa snatch a drink out of a customers hand and when confronted in a calm way she started screaming for security. She is extremely rude to certain types of guests also. On the other hand Bartender Kaitlen is an AMAZING bartender. She k ow her drinks, is great with guests and always has a smile. Two other supervisors Jessica and Josh are always kind and helpful to guests no matter what the situation is.
Well first off the lady on duty was not very polite when we walked in she didn't even offer to see if we wanted anything to drink or anyting just wasn't a good experience
