A few years after I was there for the first time, I came back (from Vancouver, Canada for the amazing food the Tuna avocado tempura is for dying like the seafood pasta especially the lobster. Never a disappointment! The family and staff always feel at home. Such a jewel of a place!!! Atmosphere, food, service, cannot be beaten! A must visit place when you are on vacation, but even more when you live here.
In Mooncussers dropped Tavern last night. The service was great! From the Valet to the bar offer, staff and visit of the owner Patrick wait, who checked in with us. Atmosphere is pure old New England tavern, but the food is over and beyond. Creative, secret and just good. Nice wine map. Will definitely recommend it to friends on the Cape. And look forward to the next time we're in the neighborhood.
This is Mother's Day. Some of us ordered the brunch menu and some from the regular menu. Everyone thought their meal was delicious. A son said the steak (with garlic rice) was the best he had in a long time. Very friendly, great service, charming ambience
Rarely do you stumble on the talent of a chef like the one found here in the middle of the Cape Cod summer bustle. Stunning adaptation of common seafood options combined with unique flavors and ingredients like smoky paprika shrimp, jalapeño lobster risotto with seared halibut and golfball sized scallops. Interesting specials like elk and ostrich tail and perfect desert favorites in items like profiteroles. A simple but spot on wine selection paired perfectly. Combine this with a talented bar staff, thoughtful and accommodating table service, a helpful front of the house, the choice of tavern or fine dining ambience and you have a complete win. This is not to be missed.
