Stopped by for breakfast on a Sunday around 10:20. Got a table right away, and the server brought our drinks in a timely manner. They offer a breakfast buffet or ordering off a menu. The six of us chose to order off the menu. Our food came out in a timely manner and it was delicious! Thick cut bacon and crispy hash browns. Yummy!Service was great and so was the food. What S K doesn't like about American Legion Post 47:
Went for Sunday morning breakfast. Got there at 11. Had to wait 15 mins after being sat for any of the staff to even acknowledge us. People who came in after us were getting served. Then when the server finally got to our table, they couldn 't give us menus because they were changing from breakfast to lunch, but lunch didn 't even start until 11:30. They expect people to wait a half hour before even giving menus out... View all feedback.
So I have a hard time posting 1 star for an Legion Post, but service is terrible. The scenery on the river is great, but we sat outside and waited 15 minutes on a day that wasn't busy. Not 1 server stopped to say hi or that they'd be right with us. The tables in front, the back, and the side all were getting served. Not once did a server say anything to us. I can't rate the food because we left. Disappointing to say the least
I’ve lived in Hastings for 3 years now and have made it home. Been to this place 4 times with family. All 4 of my kids felt uncomfortable along with EVERYONE in my family. For sure not somewhere to go for people of color. People like to watch you eat your meal and point and stare. Do NOT Recommend.
My friend and I were there twice and we couldn't get anyone to wait on us, they were not even busy!!! I say poor service !!!!
Amazing place in Hastings! Food and drinks are all wonderful, great patio, great views!
Well the river overlook for breakfast so far is phenomenal!
