My family had fish and chip shops and the Life Boat is one of the best I have visited. The fish was fresh and the batter crispy. They do leave the skin on the fish but it is easily removed. We stopped for fish n chips over bank holiday and it was not nice at all,really gone down hill. The service wasn't up to m6ch either. No smile or welcome hello....

"Myself and my partner visited Hastings for a little holiday, little did we know we would stumble across this amazing restaurant we didn’t eat in as we had somewhere to be however we couldn’t resist the look of the focaccia in the window! We ordered 2 slices and it was the best thing I have ever tasted. Very authentic Italian and freshly made, I’m just sad it’s so far away from where we live as I would eat here everyday if I could! The pizzas looked amazing and I would definitely revisit Hastings just to go back here : the staff were super friendly and the service was brilliant"
