"Amazing food and service! The pistachio ice cream is actually made from pistachio and not artificial flavouring. Everything is made with love. A much cheaper option instead of going all the way to Italy for this quality of food. It will now be sacrilege to eat anywhere else when I’m in Hastings!"

"I wasn’t expecting much from a brief google of dog friendly pubs on a quick stop by Eastbourne but we found a friendly, down to earth pub with super friendly staff and good junk food! Vegan menu is really good in my opinion, generous portions and fairly priced. Really good pub grub."

"It was a shame our experience of coming here was not as great as before. As a group of 7 we were told to pre order but the food still arrived a different times and some elements were cold and dried out like the rice. The food arrived even before our drinks. Some dishes had shellfish but no finger bowls or spare dishes for the shells. Some dishes clearly had frozen mixed veg in. The steak skewer starter around £8 was one small skewer, very expensive for a small portion size. The service was OK but we were left waiting on food and drinks often, some staff didn't even speak to us but just stared at us till we took our food for drinks from them. Then the bill came with an automatic 13% tip. I hope it improves again soon because this was a family favourite, but it was disappointing this time."

"We visited a wedding that had custom boxes of vegan cheese towels, raspberry and chocolate chip cookies. These boxes were well presented and received. So much, we went back the following day to eat in the tea room itself. They had plant milk available, and I tried a wonderfully moist and warm carrot cake. Would highly recommend it is a nice place to stop as it is just outside the battle Abby."
