found this little gem in the good pub guide and right! they had a great selection of real ales, including a well maintained tring breweries sidepocket, so I was sorted. we had lunch outside, as it was still quite mild. the vegetarian chilli was excellent. the group with which I had burger and sandwiches, and all were satisfied with their meals. had a nice walk after and will be roasted again on Sunday! read more.

What a beautiful location, loved this hidden pub. Sunday roast was such disappointment! Terrible food, was compared to school dinner roast! The most terrible roast we have ever eaten. Such a shame as we were going to invite lots of friends. Will be sticking with white horse at Burnham green where you pay £2-3 more but the food is delishious! read more.
