"Shady acres is always a pleasant stop for us when we travel to Jackson. I will usually restock on my homemade jellies and get fruit for the trip. The place has come back from a fire and it's people there are good friendly people. There is a lunch served daily, reasonably priced and good eating. I would recommend at least stopping in once and I think you will be back again and again. There are jellies, preserves, butters, salsas, BBQ sauces, syrups, molasses, seasonal fresh fruit, and plenty of candies and snacks. There is also a room with craft and signs and touristy stuff, candles and gag items. And more. I would suggest you stop by. I don't think you'll be disappointed."

"I like the freshness of the bread, the pastrami and corned beef is good. I added jalapeno and black olives to my sub. I got the steamer sub. My only complaint is they add way to much sauce. There was so much Mayo, mustard, and Italian dressing on it that my bread got soggy. If I order again, I will order with no sauce unfortunately."

"Huge variety of craft beers on tap. Location is great. Close to hotels and shopping. Bartender very friendly and very versed in the menu and drink list. Bartender very versed in local culture, cuisine and history. Ornate mahogany wood craft throughout the bar. "Took my neice and neice and nephew out to eat, we chose Petra, the humus was awesome, he ordered a Kibbeh, sooo good, and also falafel as our appetizers, cant decide which was best! Our Gyros were delicious also, we decided on a couple of desserts to share...baklava and the fruit tiramisu, superb. Will be going back. Staff was extra helpful and attentive."

"Excellent local seafood! Large variety of fresh seafood to pick from! I got the fried oyster platter with red potatoes and a salad. Hands down the best fried oysters I have ever had! My husband got the fried catfish which was amazing as well! The staff were friendly and the restaurant was very clean! They also have different spices and sauces that you can buy as well. SOOOO glad we stopped in for dinner! Would highly recommend!!"

"I had the burned ends and smoked wings for appetizers. They were both delicious. All sauces were excellent. The best was the service. We were up there yesterday afternoon. I had a make server that doesn't remember his name, but he wasn't a good job. Very attentive, never had to wait for something and kind. Obviously he knew his job."
