We visited twice whilst on holiday from the UK in Old Habana, once to eat and once for a cocktail making lesson. Both were amazing experiences, I had too much Rum and enjoyed every minute. Thank you to all the staff, especially the very talented gentleman who showed us how to make classic cocktails and the ladies who looked after us. Food was amazing, Tapas delicious and Rum amazing. What Marta Philippe doesn't like about El Del Frente:
Very disappointed. The server got impatient and was rude because I was asking what was in certain dishes. Green salad was horrible, old and yellow. The fish was too dried and hard to eat. View all feedback.
The Tuna Tataki was great. The tacos were good. The sweet potatoes purée was too watery. The cheesecake was not cheesy enough, but more like jelly. The rooftop had a nice vibe, with strong music.
Probably the closest we came to a snooty restaurant in Havana, but the rooftop dining and the food were worth it! The drinks were beautiful but I really couldn’t tell much difference between the gin and tonic selections.
This place is amazing! The ceviche and the fruit daiquiris were to die for ! Rooftop terrace is so nice! Might not be the authentic Cuban place but definitely worth the detour!
This place was great! Best food we had in Havana by far. Nice atmosphere on the roof terrace and the tacos were delicious. We didn’t need to book but it started getting busy at around 8pm so turn up early if you want to guarantee a table.
This was our first restaurant in Cuba and we had a great time. Friendly staff, bathrooms with toilet paper, mojitos were great, not too sweet, and the mixed tacos were delicious.
