"We dined here on Saturday night with 4 adults and 4 children. What an awesome experience! Having a playground and huge area for the kids is perfect! The atmosphere, food and service was great. "We booked at St George’s Restaurant for our friends 80th Birthday Lunch. Whilst the food was fabulous we were so disappointed with the welcome and table service. We shared on entering the establishment that is was a significant birthday celebration and cited this a few times throughout. At no point was the birthday acknowledged by the person waiting the table. There seemed little to no interest in us. We felt very embarrassed by this as it was our gift to her. We also found it difficult to find the restaurant as the sign has fallen over- a simple A board as a temporary measure would’ve been helpful. We would not return to the restaurant and would not recommend it to other not because of the food, but the service. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: NZ$100+"
