Food service was average. No GF fryer and didn’t seem to even know/care about GF for coeliac. Whole place looks a bit tired.

Staff had knowledge of ceoliac restrictions. They let us know what dishes would need modifications. Most mains gf or could be done gf. We really liked the lamb...

Great food and views. Staff are helpful and very attentive.

"What a great experience. I stopped here on my way back to Hastings from Havelock North. Although I was alone I was well looked after by the friendly staff, and had a delightful meal of Fiordland venison salad. I'd thoroughly recommend it for an unforgettable time."

"I had a sirloin steak for a the main meal and it was over cooked, gray in appearance and very tough, looked like it was a lesser cut of meat that had been trimmed up with a knife to look like a sirloin. DONOT recommenced for any function."
