"What a great experience. I stopped here on my way back to Hastings from Havelock North. Although I was alone I was well looked after by the friendly staff, and had a delightful meal of Fiordland venison salad. I'd thoroughly recommend it for an unforgettable time."

"I had a sirloin steak for a the main meal and it was over cooked, gray in appearance and very tough, looked like it was a lesser cut of meat that had been trimmed up with a knife to look like a sirloin. DONOT recommenced for any function."

"This is definitely my favourite restaurant in Dunedin, though I'm tad biased towards brunch. Often packed on a weekend, but not without good reason and seats aren't hard to find. If you're feeling a bit dusty after a night out or just after a treat for brunch, its the place to be."
