"Tasty fish options. Accommodating with my shellfish allergy. Great service. I enjoyed the ambiance, good music and being able to see the kitchen. "Went for a birthday dinner and had wonderful experience. the atmosphere (of the music that is a great part of what this restaurant is, to the hand soap in the bathroom) was great without the food and the wine (big fan of the cheesy cauliflower) and the service that know and ask the care of the staff, made it a special opportunity."

"We had an enjoyable lunch at the 'spirits tasting ' event, the starter was particularly good. We were given a voucher as a gift and had not previously dined at Haywards. We enjoyed the fixed lunch menu and the presentation from Adam representing Essex Spirits. However, we would have preferred a wine tasting experience as we rarely drink spirits."
