"The food was dependably quality, though bland at times. After being treated to having to listen to a contemptuous diatribe about having to give her employees sick leave and how they'd use it to scam her by the owner while waiting to be seated, we just never went back again. Anyone who treats their employees with such contempt didn't deserve the business."

"Went on Friday evening, restaurant was very busy however we were pleasantly greeted and seated immediately. Ordered Seafood gumbo as appetizer and Seafood Trio. Both were amazing Gumbo was as good as any I have eaten in Louisiana. Stuffed Rockfish and fried Crabcakes for dinner. The fish tasted like it literally just came out of the bay and crabcakes were awesome, fresh, sweet and not overly spiced with old bay, mustard, mayo or any thing that distracted the true flavor. Service was delightful. Would highly recommend. Very casual atmosphere with great food! Great Key lime pie for dessert.!"

"Best. cake. always. my man and I are born new yorker and while on the last part of our holiday trip, I came to my brother in law, who is a native in maryland and always brought me and my family these amazing crabcakes, but I could not remember where they were from, he told us the location and we made it the last scrub stop our trip! my man was in absolute heaven and tried her crabcake! he is a food business and grew up with a chef chef for a vater and has extremely high food standards in general and especially for seafood. in his exact words after the second bit. “omg, I would pay $100 for this crabcake!” many thanks to the family kanaras that they really, authentic, fresh and the quality I remember years ago! the owner's son came out and spoke to us and was absolutely so gracious and genuine, a truly authentic and wonderful person, thank you! our server janice was absolutely wonderful, very friendly and attentive, thank you! next time in maryland or go through, we will be back for another crabcake! P.S. we even bought two frozen crab cakes for the elders of my manne to try to be so impressed!"
