Smashed avocado, asparagus, pickled beetroot and sourdough for me ... and is Gary the first to get through the big breakfast? Excellent ... we're back for lunch next week! "To be great in the old railway station, the building is full of character. big wein from sevenhill to reasonable trips (maybe they go to a drink there? . most foods seemed reheated and not hot enough. it is probably safest to stay with steak and carving. host is abrupt and unfriendly!"

"Great restaurant set in a lovely old railway station. We dined here recently and were blown away by the quality of the food. Everything we ordered was delicious. The steak was very good as was the accompanying salad and chips. Highly recommended."

"Overnight with our children on the way to arkaroola. really friendly and helpful owners and chef (danke dickie and bluey). the evening meal was fabulous, sitting outside and watching the sunset and with a few drinks. the rooms were airy and comfortable with beautiful high ceilings. the speck and egg rolls were the best, and thickie made us an industrial-strong coffee for the road. fabulous friendly place would like to come back."

"Apparently this is a very popular place (maybe because there is nothing around 40km) so that unfortunately it was posted. we have the 2 pizza plus a court deal to take. surprisingly they ran out chips (already started at 6 o'clock before service.) the pizzas were nice with lots of cheese, but not very crispy. but everything would have cost a 5 hr hike. prices were expensive, but expected here"

"What a great experience. The old train station is charming and Bob who owns it and is also the chef is very willing to share it's history. The roast beef we had was basic but so very yummy. Would highly recommend."
