"I stopped in on a Sunday evening for dinner. I had the brisket burnt ends, which were excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return when I am in Hawkesbury again."

"It is nice inside, waitresses & waiters are friendly. The food is average and very salty. We had to wait a long time for it to arrive. They have nice pool tables, a nice bar and TV's. The drinks are good. If I want a good meal I usually choose elsewhere... If you want the bar scene with the salty/fatty food well it is a good place for that."

"This restaurant is the only family style restaurant with many types of food on menu for at least a 30 km radius. I have never been impressed with their food, quality and presentation. I never wanted to provide a negative review because I believe it...is important to support our town's businesses. Sorry No . We have had poor quality of food the numerous times we went. It is a popular place due to its size and varied menu. Prices are high for the food served. You can do as well at many of the little hamburger stands that dot the town for much less. My latest beef was the final straw. We order a pizza every week for delivery. We always request THIN crust. often than not we receive a pizza with enough extra crust that you could make another pizza with. Most of the ingredients are either too limited or too bunched in the center. For this reason we always request a double portion of one ingredient. (Doesn't seem to make any difference. I am sure most people in the area will continue to frequent this place and I am certainly not suggesting otherwise not suggesting otherwise. In my case, I will continue to frequent restaurants as far away as Ottawa to get decent fare"

"We stopped here on the way home for Parc Omega. We had an absolutely wonderful experience. I mean this when I say that Louise is the best waitress I've ever had at any restaurant ever. Her energy and happiness were contagious. I can't possibly recommend coming here enough! Thank you for a lovely experience."

"My wife and I ate lunch here last week. The atmosphere is rather old fashioned, booths and decor, but it does not attempt to be so. It's just the way the establishment is. The food was wholesome and inexpensive.The service was friendly and good. One can have a drink with one's meal, too.All in all, worth a try!"
