What User likes about Great Southern Hotel:
Stayed here while going to a show at ICC at Darling Harbour. About a 20min walk or can catch the tram only 5 min away. Hotel is going thru renovations which wasnt a problem. Clean and reasonable price to stay for one night in city. A little outdated but that doesnt worry us. No complaints and would stay here again for a one night stay close to transport and amenities. Breakfast was also reasonable and nice. read more.

Walking distance to the main Central train station. Lots of food places around. The rooms are being renovated (floor 1 at least) so is not suitable for those that want "spotless". Quiet sleep with double glazed windows. Breakfast area for those that want to pay. Only cheap suggestion to management that I heard from a few visitors was please supply a free bottle of water in the room. read more.
