Lucy, the host, makes the most delicious buns on earth. They are soft and squishy, yet firm, just how you like them! Even though some may not enjoy the tuna, I definitely do! View all feedback.
What jebskulker doesn't like about Juicy Lucy:
I ordered food from this restaurant through Uber Eats and had it delivered to Redfern. The food arrived still warm, which was great. I decided to try the chicken tenders, Juicy Lucy chicken burger, and some chips. The tenders were a bit plain by themselves, but the dipping sauce added a nice flavor. I also ordered some chips with a different dipping sauce, which made them delicious. The sauces were reasonably priced... View all feedback.

My work friends come here often so wanted to try it as well. I give it an average score but that’s in line with what I expected it’s good for what it is. The wraps are insanely filling very heavy with options stuffed with rice and fries. The quality of the chicken was actually pretty good for a small fast food type establishment. Venue itself is a bit divey service in line with take away venues. If you want quick and easy and fast food style fried chicken this is a decent option in this part of town.
Burger was deep-fried, and tasted like fried cardboard. Chips were extremely greasy. Not recommended.
We got some takeaway for dinner at Juicy Lucy. I ordered the 1/4 chicken and large chips to share for myself. My chicken was still abit pink inside which i threw out. The flavour was good though with rice stuffing My boyfriend had the bruce lee wrap $14 for just this wrap... quite steep The chips were very salty and the oil they cook the chips weren't a golden colour. It was brown and not fresh looking.
I ordered the Juicy Lucy burger and it was extremely disappointing. The chicken was tough and the batter was chewy, there were bits of gristle, and the bun was like one from a supermarket. I have tried a few fried chicken spots in Sydney recently, and this one was by far the worst. It's even worse than the cheapest places, yet they charge $13 for the burger. For just $1 extra, you could get something much better at Thirsty Bird.
