What Sylvan Fahey likes about Pondok Selera:
This is a small food stall at a food court, but it offers various tasty Indonesian foods. In the Autumn or Winter, I like to buy Soto Betawi/ Jakarta creamy soup. Do not expect to get much beef meet in this delicious savoury soup, because the price is fairly cheap. The rice portion is generous so that I can not finish eating it by myself.
My other favorite is balado ikan/fried fish with generous chilli paste. For me... View all feedback. What Marty Okuneva doesn't like about Pondok Selera:
Pondok Selera has been around forever dishing out indonesian, indo-chinese and some token malay food (step fwd fried curry vermicelli, laksa, har mee identified as malaysian prawn noodle soup here as some examples). Portions are huge as usual, prices have crept up but still good value as attested by its stream of customers. View all feedback.

read morePondok Selera is a long-standing restaurant known for its Indonesian, Indo-Chinese, and Malay cuisine. With huge portions and reasonable prices, it continues to attract a loyal customer base. The service is friendly, and the food is praised for its spiciness and delicious flavors. Standout dishes include the vegetarian Jackfruit curry, lamb curry, Soto Betawi soup, and Balado Ikan fried fish with chili paste. The staff is accommodating, and customers enjoy the authentic and flavorful dishes offered. Overall, Pondok Selera is a great choice for those seeking a taste of home-style Indonesian cuisine in a casual setting.
I ordered Nasi goreng khas (spicy) and suprised with the taste. It was really good and really 'indonesia '. I definitely will come back and taste another food....
