Vernie's Hamburger House - Hays

Good place to stop in for a bite of classic American food. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and my fiancé ordered the 3 piece chicken strips. The burger was good. Not too big. Not too greasy. If you have taste buds, then don?t eat here. You will be highly disappointed. The service was quick and friendly, but the food is terrible. Green bean and dumpling soup??? Should be called slop soup. The hamburgers are pre-made soy patties, that are gray when they bring them out. I?m pretty sure they boil the patties.
