"Excellent American Diner/Comfort food experience. Prices are more than fair, food is actually made on-site (with the variety in quality that sometimes creates), and it is delicious.Wait service was great despite being under-staffed; however, they're definitely feeling the pandemic labor squeeze and kitchen service was extremely slow. Since this is not the norm, I can't hold it against them.Also, the mashed potatoes and country gravy are phenomenal."

"Every time we go to The Ranch, we feel welcome. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. We love the new menu items and small changes that are made. The traditional dinner club tray is so funny. Your cheese curds are the best for an appetizer with your cocktail. The new Brussels spits are killers. The prices are great, the environment is wonderful, almost always busy, so you have to wait in their fantastic bar for a table."

"Be aware of time, they close at 7 p.m. We had a lot of time to eat and the pizzas were good. I'm visiting family in Hayward, but that should be one of the best pizzas in town. The pizzas were good and the addition for salad and soup bar made it better. It's nice to cut it in a place so we can share what was nice. I had a glass of beer that put it in a cold glass, so it was nice and cold."

"CLOSED! We went last year for the first time and loved this place even though they were out of half the items we wanted to eat (everything we got was good though! They posted in their Facebook account that they are temporarily closed and unsure when they will reopen."
