"Order Ruben hotdog, no pork or bbq sauce. Got a hotdog added bacon but they didn't tell me out of bacon until charged and noticed there wasn't any. The ice cream is the only reason for 2 stars. 30min wait for a hot dog and a grilled cheese?"

"Waiter was excellent. Cocktail was goodbit pricey...Airline chicken was devine, so was the shrimp/scallop pasta. Great bread. Brussels Sprouts were also great, as was the corn side dish. The lobster corn dogs were just ok...meh. Portions are ample, you could even share. Ambiance: cool decor, but it was too dark. I like a softly lit place, but this was almost absurd. Too dark to see menu unless you held it to the tiny light One thing that bothered us a bit that I will share it so maybe the owners can explain to the hostess...when we came in at there was only one table, ONE occupied. He place was empty..which is to be expected so early. The young lady didnât greet us with a smile but said âdo you have reservations?â We did actually, but that is a silly questions to ask from the start. She should have said certainly we will seat you, then âlet me know if you had reservations so I can mark then off.â Being cool and dismissive doesnât make your place seem special or exclusive, it makes it feel silly and pretentious. they just need better training. Owners should go eat in Bham at OvenBird or Highlands or many others to see how itâs done. Too many servers milling around a few feet from out table chatting and looking at our food, since no other diners yet. Overall a very nice dinner. We enjoyed it. Will definitely come again, maybe to sit at the bar and split some shareables. Happy to see a new place in town..with an interesting menu. I wish them well!"

"This was good. Interesting, really. The flavors were delicious, but I realized it was lacking that crystallization from sugar that makes eating ‘raw dough’ so satisfying.The service was nice, and the serving sizes are very generous, almost too generous, because it’s very rich, you really can’t eat much.My favorite flavor that we tried was the banana pudding specialty flavor. It tasted exactly like the banana pudding, without mushy bananas.I’d go back, but maybe to get a sampler platter to taste all the flavors in mini scoops (which are definitely a good size that I wouldn’t necessarily consider mini)."

"1st time here while on a Home Pet Sitting job in Meridianville, stopped in for breakfast. It was amazing, friendly staff, full of locals, waitresses calling customers by their 1st names!! A place that is the true South, their atmosphere was amazing the food was great!!"
